..............Now you have made the decision to hold your wedding ceremony and/or celebration at the Tunnels Beaches here are some ..............handy tips on how to go about booking your special event... ..............1. Firstly you must choose your date and email Tunnels Beaches: [email protected] >> to see if there is a vacancy ..............and reserve the date for yourselves, but don't leave it too late as the popular dates always go well in advance. Email us to ..............arrange an onsite tour & meeting to discuss your requirements. ..............2. Provisional booking: We are happy to hold your date for 5 days after which time, should we not hear from you, the date ..............will automatically be released. ..............Please note: We reserve the right to refuse bookings. ..............3. Confirming a booking: To book your wedding we will need a completed wedding booking form >> outlining your anticipated ..............requirements, along with a non refundable/non transferable booking and administration fee of £3500. Please ensure you fully ..............read our wedding terms & conditions >> and take particular note of your obligations in the event of cancellation. ..............If you also want to book our accommodation, to secure your booking we will need a completed accommodation booking form >> ..............confirming your details, along with a non refundable/non transferable deposit of £1000 (per property). Please ensure you fully ..............read our accommodation terms & conditions >> ..............Please note: The booking and administration fee is STRICTLY NON REFUNDABLE in any circumstances. Please think very ..............carefully before making your booking as your Wedding Insurance will not cover a 'change of heart'. Your booking and ..............administration fee plus any accommodation deposits will not be refunded should you decide to cancel your wedding and accommodation with us. .............. ..............Payment can be in the form of BACS transfer, cash or debit/credit card inc. Amex. ..............4. It is a condition of your booking that you take out adequate Wedding Insurance to cover any unforseen eventualities. ............. Proof of insurance is usually required within 30 days of your initial booking, however due to COVID-19 this may not be possible ............. so please just arrange wedding insurance when it is possible to do so (COVID-19 will not be covered by any wedding insurer!). ............. Please email a copy of your certificate and policy when you have it in place. Cover must be at least the cost of your wedding ............. as shown on your statement of account plus an extra 25%. Good policies can be purchased from a variety of well known online ............. retailers for around £100. Please be aware that wedding insurance is only available up to 2yrs in advance of your wedding date. ............. We still accept bookings further in advance of this but you will need to arrange suitable cover at the earliest opportunity... ............. ............. Please note: Wedding insurance not compulsory for Elopement bookings, it is optional. ..............5. If you intend to have your ceremony here, you will need to liaise directly with the registrar. You are ..............welcome to visit, but please email to book an appointment first. ..............7. 50% of the venue hire fee is payable at least 12 months prior to the date of your wedding, with the remaining 50% payable ..............at least 6 months prior. ..............Please note: Our minimum numbers are set at 40 adult guests (inc. yourselves!). Our policy is to charge an additional ..............£100 venue hire fee surcharge per person under the minimum guest numbers. So for example, 30 adult guests would ..............attract an additional venue hire charge of £1000. ..............8. Then 12 weeks before the wedding we need to know any alteration to guest numbers. The number you give us at this ..............stage will be the number we cater for and what you will be charged for. The total account must be settled at least 8 weeks ..............prior to the event. Your initial £3500 booking and administration fee and any accommodation deposits (if applicable) are ..............deducted from the final balance at this point. ..............Payment can be in the form of BACS transfer, cash or debit/credit card inc. Amex. ..............Please note: Our wedding venue bars are ‘cashless’. Please inform your guests that we only accept card payments ..............(inc. Amex) or Apple pay. (Perhaps include this on your wedding invitations...) ..............9. Arrange to have your decorations, wedding favours and cake delivered after 10am on the big day, then relax and enjoy! ..............Please note: Our website is kept fully up to date, please always refer to/check for current & correct information.
