........... "We are still on cloud nine about how much we enjoyed our wedding day and how well everything went. There are not enough

........... Tunnels Beaches was the first of 14 wedding venues we saw in a jam-packed long weekend of intensive venue searching through
........... the whole of South West England. Luckily for us, we instinctively knew from when we first met Jamie that he was someone who
........... understood what we were looking for on our big day (unstuffy, relaxed, fun) and would be able to deliver it. We're very glad to
........... say that we weren't disappointed!

........... The venue building was still on paper when we booked (which even then looked impressive) but we were both blown away by the
........... finished product. The building was not only pretty and stylish, fitting in perfectly with the setting (many of our guests commented
........... on how it felt like being on an exotic holiday abroad); but it was also very versatile and spacious. We dined inside as the weather
........... turned chilly and managed to fit all 83 guests onto the 1st floor without feeling overcrowded. The guests all commented on what
........... great views of the sea and sunset they saw at dinner.

........... John especially would like to mention how good the integrated sound system was - both indoors and outside. The boys spent a bit
........... of time putting together a playlist, and with a sound system that good, we definitely didn't need a DJ!

........... The canapés went down a storm, particularly the mini roast beef and yorkshire puds, thai fishcakes and scones with clotted cream.
........... Guests loved the BBQ (especially the squid, leg of lamb and beef burgers) - not least because they could go for seconds!

........... Last but not least, we would like to say a big thank you to Josh and the team on the day who made the transitions from indoors to
........... out (and back again!) all very smooth and stress-free. Even though we had intermittent sunshine and showers, the staff adapted the
........... setting so seamlessly that we were able to thoroughly enjoy the occassion, the beach setting (and sunshine!) without ever feeling
........... hindered by the weather.
