Elopement FAQs

  • Elopements include the use of our wedding facility (ground & top floors - not the first floor function room) and the terrace overlooking our beach for 6hrs on the day of the ceremony for the wedding couple and up to 6 guests (6hrs include: 2hrs before the ceremony - to get ready, and 4hrs after). The opportunity to take photographs after the ceremony (please book photographer direct). Use of our 'getting ready room' located at our main entrance, during the 2hr period prior to the ceremony. 2x parking spaces allocated - 1 for the wedding couple and 1 for the registrar.

  • Yes, you can add up to 10 additional guests at a cost of £25 p/person (max. 16 guests in total permitted).

  • Yes – the beach will be private to you throughout your hire period.

  • Venue Hire, 6hrs

  • Drinks packages are available to add to your booking and our bar will be open to buy any additional drinks required on the day... We don't offer food for small Elopements due to the nature of our bespoke venue - it's just not viable for us to open the kitchen for one small booking. However, we can offer a 3 course 'Set Menu' or 'Gourmet BBQ' for Elopements of 12 people or more.

    This must be confirmed and paid for in advance.

    (Based on 18 people sharing 9 bedrooms. Note - only 1 bedroom can be set up as a twin bed)

  • You can book an Elopement for Mon-Weds up to 18 months in advance of your wedding date (£3500). You can book any available day/date at shorter notice - within 4 months of the Wedding date (£2750). Elopement packages may be available on other days – please ask.

  • Between 12pm to 6pm, depending on your preference.

    You will need to liaise directly with the registrar 'Ceremonies Team'.

    Our local office is Exeter. T: 0345 155 1002 or email: register@devon.gov.uk to arrange your wedding date & time. Registrar fees are payable direct.

  • A deposit of £4500 is required - this is STRICTLY NON REFUNDABLE in any circumstances.

  • 3-12 yr olds can have a kids menu if preferred, £35 discount is offered.

  • No, this is all we allow time wise for Elopements. It’s all you need!

  • Yes, our venue offers complete privacy during your Elopement.

  • Yes, dogs are very welcome to attend your ceremony.
